Charleston, W.Va. – BrickStreet Insurance, in partnership with the West Virginia Manufacturers Association (WVMA), presented the inaugural BrickStreet and WVMA Safety Award during the WVMA Annual Dinner at the Clay Center Thursday evening.

The 2016 BrickStreet and WVMA Safety Award was presented to Sistersville Tank Works, a manufacturer of custom pressure vessels, storage tanks and other specialty products, for safety excellence.

“We are incredibly proud to present this award in partnership with WVMA,” said BrickStreet CEO Greg Burton. “Several years ago, we created an association program to support and reward WVMA member companies for their efforts in driving safety-related performance. We see this safety award as an extension of that, and it is an honor to recognize Sistersville Tank Works for the company’s dedication to creating a safer workplace.”  The award was included as part of the WVMA Annual Dinner Thursday, March 24, following the Marcellus and Manufacturing Development Conference. Several representatives from Sistersville Tank Works were in attendance to accept the award.

“Sistersville Tank Works has played an important role in West Virginia’s manufacturing history,” said Rebecca McPhail, president of WVMA. “We are happy to have been able to join forces with BrickStreet to present them with the 2016 Safety Award. They are very deserving of this honor.”
