Founded in 1915, the WVMA membership represents manufacturers from across the state. Members benefit from the Associations leadership in policy, advocacy and mobilization at the State Capitol, and federally in collaboration with the American Chemistry Council and the National Association of Manufacturers. The WVMA is THE voice for manufacturing in the Mountain State.
The WVMA provides our members access to experts in the area of environmental protection, workers’ compensation, unemployment compensation, tax, safety and other areas of interest to manufacturers. In addition, the WVMA facilitates relationships for a broad range of manufacturing sectors and supporters of the industry.
As a member of WVMA, companies receive the benefits of the work of WVMA committees whose members work on issues that affect your bottom line operations. Committees include Environmental Health & Safety, Human Resources, and Government Affairs. Work at the committee level informs the WVMA of opportunities and challenges, providing a basis for member driven policy pursuits, training/educational programs, and partner savings programs.
The benefit of networking with other manufacturers across the state is an invaluable tool WVMA provides our members. And our Manufacturing Connections gives you access to our associate members who have expertise in areas important to you.
